I’m honoured to have my debut with the Okanagan Festival Singers as tenor soloist for its production of Handel’s beloved oratorio. If you’re in Kelowna on Saturday, December 3, come hear me comfort people, exalt valleys and more! “The Messiah” is one of my favourite works to perform.

I finally get to sing in a production of Bizet’s beloved opera Carmèn! I didn’t get a chance to perform it as a child because my voice changed, but I’m thrilled that I was asked to be in this production. The ultimate femme fatale, Carmen is a strong and fiery woman doing what she can to survive in a poor town, manipulating and seducing the men who try to control her. When one man’s obsession turns to wild jealousy, the consequences are tragic and shocking.

Calgary Opera turns 50 this season, and we’re starting the season off with a fantastic concert that features some of Canada’s most prominent operatic stars! I look forward to sharing the stage with names such as Tracy Dahl, Lynn Fortin, Kristina Szabo, David Pomeroy, Andrew Love, Brett Polegato— and my voice teacher, John Tessier!

I’ve really excited to rejoin my choral family in singing one of its trademarks: The Nightingale by Ugis Praulins. The concert will also double as a celebration for Maestro Michael Zaugg, who marks 10 years as artistic director of Pro Coro!

Lots of fun with members of the Calgary Concert Opera Company family as part of #summeron17th to perform some operatic gems by Mozart, Verdi and Bizet! I really enjoyed performing rep I have never prepared before, or haven’t touched in a long while!

Pleased and honoured to have been among the first group of singers to be invited to the Elora Festival’s inaugural summer program! Huge thanks to the Elora Festival for the masterclasses, private coachings and mentoring, and the chance to perform in in a public recital with some amazing colleagues. I also loved singing Bach’s Mass in B minor with the renowned Elora Singers! Check out some photos on my Instagram feed!
